John Smith

Using a wide variety of local hardwoods, John creates a unique range of bowls and platters that are both decorative and functional, each accentuating the grain, colour and individuality of the particular wood. Demonstrations of wood turning will be given during the afternoon for the duration of Open Studios.

Directions: Take the B936 north from Auchtermuchty towards Newburgh. Continue past the community centre and take the third turning on the left into Mournipea where the road forks at the white house. Continue up the hill, past the fields, we are the secound house on the right.
Access: Parking for 5 cars in the driveway. Overflow parking is available 100 metres up the road on right. Parking on single track road is not recommended.
Points of Interest: Beautiful views of Lomond hills and close proximity to Pitmedden forest.
