Jeanette Sendler

Jeanette is a costume designer taking inspiration from period costume, art history and museum collections. Lately she has explored work with the heat press creating botanical prints which will feed into her applied textiles. She runs contemporary pattern cutting and millinery classes and her spacious studio enables cross media arts collaborations

Open Studios Event: this year the artist is accepting visitors to their studio.
Directions: Approaching Newburgh on A913 from Perth, Clinton Street is second on the right after entering the town. From Dundee direction, drive along the main street to the far end of town and turn left before the bowling green. Look for the red door, entry to the studio is along the alley to the left of door.
Access: Large free car park 100 yards away. From Perth, on the left after 30 mph sign, from Dundee, on right after bowling green. Wheelchair access on request
Points of Interest: Newburgh has a riverside park with play ground and an archway marking the start of the Fife coastal walk. There are WASPS artist studios in the Steeple, and the Laing museum is open every Sunday. The recently opened Lindores Distillery is also well worth a visit.
