With a background in theology, Janice employs iconographic techniques - egg tempera, metal embossing, encaustic - to explore religious themes in a playful, critical way. She also enjoys creating figurative work in charcoal.

Open Studios Event: this year the artist is accepting visitors to their studio and taking part online.
Directions: My studio is in The Steeple building, opposite the Co-op (on the High Street, in the centre of Newburgh). I am located in Studio 1, on the ground floor.
Access: The Steeple can be accessed from the High Street via stairs or ramp. Wheelchair accessible. Time-limited parking on High Street.
Points of Interest: Newburgh is the start/end point of Fife's famous Coastal Path. Macduff's Cross is on the hill behind Newburgh. Black Earnside (William Wallace) site on river road into Newburgh, with stunning panoramic views of the Tay and into hills of Perthshire.
