Michael is a professional landscape painter working in Fife, Scotland, where he lives by the River Tay. His work is founded on the practice of painting outdoors in the impressionist manner, recording directly the effects of light he observes around him. The exhibition of Michael's work is held in the East Hall, which is around the back of the church, and accessed from the main road side.

Points of Interest: Wormit and Newport have numerous coffee shops and cafes where refreshments are available. The View restaurant in Wormit is close to the exhibition venue, as are other restaurants and bars in Newport. Wormit Bay offers parking space and good views over the River Tay.
