At Wormit Woolies we make mainly felted fleece rugs, made from locally sourced fleeces. These are also referred to as “Vegetarian Sheepskins” as we only use the sheared fleece from a living sheep and felt a backing on to it using the ancient art of wet felting. We also make felted scarves, baskets vessels and more entirely by hand.

Directions: We are located up the alleyway behind #1 Kilmany Road, in Wormit. Our property used to be the Patterson Skip Yard/sandpit. A GPS often directs one to the Beehives but we are a bit further up the road. #1 Kilmany has a large blue garage door, the alleyway is directly beside it.
Access: There is plenty of parking and some of the facilities will be wheelchair accessible
Points of Interest: We are a small holding with miniature Shetland ponies and kune kune pigs that love visitors. We are also on a popular walking trail that connects to the Fife Coastal Path and Wormit Bay. Weather permitting there will be a bonfire for roasting marshmallows along with rug felting demonstrations.
